Diagnosis: Red Ring Of Death (3 Red Lights error)

Good day, friend in need. My name is Victor. I love to play Xbox 360 that I bought at the supermarket half a year ago. It is only a week ago that I learnt about Microsoft's technical problems with Xbox 360 games platform. I studied lots of web sites in the internet and gathered some quite valuable information about how to prevent and SOLVE the red ring of death (three lights error) problem with your Xbox 360 console and you'll be able to play your favorite Xbox games for Xbox 360 whenever you want without fearing the 3 red lights error.

Top 3 Reasons Why Red Ring Of Death Error Appears

Reason 1: Overheating!
It is obvious that overheating does great harm to electronics. Xbox 360 console has the same (if not a bit better!) components inside as a high end gaming PC, BUT all of them are crammed into a MUCH SMALLER space.

Keep your Xbox 360 game console in as cool environment as possible. Don't keep it inside a display cabinet with closed doors!

Reason 2: Poor Xbox 360 Graphics Processor Unit (GPU) Technical Side.

It proves that Xbox 360 3 Red Lights (red ring of death) error happens due to technical issues. The problem with the GPU is also similar to the overheating problem as the red ring of death is due to the GPU taking too much heat. Generally speaking, all modern computers have a fan that pumps out all the heat from the CPU and if it gets to hot it shuts off. Xbox 360 console is exactly the same and if the GPU becomes too hot the console will shut off resulting in a screen freeze. If you switch off the Xbox 360 console and turn it back on all will be well, right until the chip gets hot again and then you will get another screen freeze!
The reason the red ring of death (3 Red Lights) appears is when this happens too many times and the 360 assumes there is a fault or a hardware error with the console!

Reason 3: Bad Power Brick Position.
Red ring of death error is most often a result of an overlooked component that is the power brick. The position of the power brick in the console is responsible for overheating that causes the Xbox 360 console to freeze. A good way you can stop the power brick from overheating is to keep it up from the floor. You are best of using an open box and resting the power brick on top as this allows the brick to breath on all sides.
This can help prevent the freezes and stop the 3 red lights from ever happening!
If your Xbox 360 is OK and working, why not buy some new Xbox 360 games ?
